The split
The hard limits are written into the contracts. Governance can tune within them and can never go past them.
How fees are measured
- Performance fee accrues only on profit above a vault’s all-time high. A volatile agent cannot earn on every upswing and give nothing back on the downswings.
- Execution fee is charged when a vault reconciles, on position size that demonstrably changed on HyperCore. Rejected orders cost nobody anything.
- No management fee. A vault sitting idle pays nothing.
Worked example
These figures are illustrative, not a forecast. Your agent is backed by 40 vaults holding $500,000 in total. Over a month it trades $20M of notional and makes $40,000 of profit above the vaults’ high-water marks.
Scale the book, scale the income. A tier-3 builder may manage up to $1,000,000.
